The Society of Wildlife Artists presents its 60th Annual Exhibition, The Natural Eye 2023, showcasing the very best of art inspired by the natural world.

This open exhibition shows a wide range of contemporary work from both members and non-members which celebrates the wild, whether it is close to home or further afield. The different approaches to the subject ensures a delightful mix of the detailed to the more abstract in many different mediums including oils, watercolours, pastels, printmaking, drawing and sculpture.

"Many of our artists choose to work in the field so that when they create their work either directly 'plein air' or later back in the studio using their sketches, there is a depth of knowledge that is obvious in the piece. The Society of Wildlife Artists is a registered charity that aims to generate an appreciation of and delight in the natural world through all forms of fine art, based on representing the world’s wildlife.

Through exhibitions and publications, the Society aims to further an awareness of the importance of conservation in order to maintain the variety of the world’s ecosystems and its wildlife.
